food is decent, place was shut down for awhile, and is basically the same as it was before, which is ok for a south side place. went there for dinner and there were 5 of us and it was not busy, but the food was good. best to get the dinner with soup and salad and dessert, which the dessert can be anything they have from cake, to cheese cake to rice pudding. service needs improvement. our waitress was not very attentive.
Wonderful decor and the place is so clean and inviting. They haven't skipped a beat with the service and the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back
The reopened restaurant is a good place in Bridgeview when you feel like you want an upscale home cooked meal. What more can you ask for. I haven't liked or appreciated that more and more restaurants charge more and give you less this place makes you feel comfortable and gives you more in taste for your hard earned dollars.
Service was very good, Grecian skirt steak was very good and the place had a nice decor that was warming. I'll definitely be back for more.
What a joy when THE VIEW was open for business again!! It was a long time to wait for my absolute favorite late night family restaurant to re-open. The food is fresh, ample and always served with a smile. It's one place worth "checking out" if you've never enjoyed it before.
Delicious tomato based minestrone soup. Honestly would have loved just getting the biggest bowl and eating with the fresh crusty soft baked bread that come with it alongside with crackers and butter. I then ordered the butt steak.....I personally did not like the butt steak. But everyone has their preferences. For me it was different in flavor profile, and I love steak and but for me it was not the best. I will be coming back tho because the menu is extensive and I have yet to try more menu items. Oh and I also ordered the waffle with strawberries and whipped cream...Delicious !!!
